During the making of Ram Leela, rumours that Deepika Padukone was dating her co-star Ranveer Singh started developing. They were spotted kissing at a night club in Dubai and their PDA on different occasions made headlines. Deepika did not actually come out in the open about this alleged relationship but the fact that Ranveer was fawning over her and that she did respond to his overtures was no secret.

Recently, in an interview to the Indian Express she said, "There is undeniably no one in my life right now. Love and marriage would happen when it happens." Does this mean Ranveer is out of her life?

When asked about her dream man, she said he would have to match up to her father badminton champion Prakash Padukone. "Isn't that the way it is for every girl? Doesn't every girl want her life partner to match up with her father?"
