During the making of Ram Leela, rumours that Deepika Padukone was dating her co-star Ranveer Singh started developing. They were spotted kissing at a night club in Dubai and their PDA on different occasions made headlines. Deepika did not actually come out in the open about this alleged relationship but the fact that Ranveer was fawning over her and that she did respond to his overtures was no secret.
Recently, in an interview to the Indian Express she said, "There is undeniably no one in my life right now. Love and marriage would happen when it happens." Does this mean Ranveer is out of her life?
When asked about her dream man, she said he would have to match up to her father badminton champion Prakash Padukone. "Isn't that the way it is for every girl? Doesn't every girl want her life partner to match up with her father?"

Ranbir Kapoor apparently skipped Deepika Padukone's success party held on Saturday as his rumored girlfriend Katrina Kaif was not requested.
The actor, who has given his biggest hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Deepika, apparently preferred staying home instead of attending the bash held at a hotel in Worli.
Says a source, "Ranbir was not shooting on Saturday. It is clear that he did not want to join the event. Ranbir was in no mood as Katrina apparently was not on the guest list."
A source close to Katrina says, "I don't think she was invited. She was shooting for a brand on that day."
Katrina and Deepika's competition has become much talked about with Deepika now finding herself in the number one position.
When Deepika was asked to comment on Katrina and Ranbir Ibiza pictures, she had said, "It has never happened with me. I believe if you are a personality or public figure, these things are bound to happen. If I am a public figure and if someone has captured me then I feel I should have been a little careful."
Jaya Bachchan is set for her debut on the small screen with fiction show Vasundhara
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he is glad with wife Jaya Bachchan‘s decision of working again. “Jaya is my wife and while talking to her we decided about it. She wants to work and I am very happy about it,” Big B, who gave hit movies like Mili, Abhimaan and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham with Jaya, told reporters at an event. Vasundhara, said to be based on a Gujarati novel, will trace the life of a single parent.
To be produced by Endemol, it will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television. Also a member of the Samajwadi Party, Jaya’s last big release was Drona.
The Delhi High Court Monday asked cable operators and internet service providers not to illegally show upcoming Bollywood movie Dhoom 3. Justice M.L. Mehta also asked various internet operators to block within 48 hours the sites which illegally show the movie after they received a written complaint from the production house.
The court's order came on a plea filed by Yash Raj Films, the producer of the film, seeking a restraint order against various internet service providers and cable operators on showing the film illegally. The much-awaited Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif, is scheduled for release on Dec 20. (IANS)
Deepika Padukone was shooting for Happy New Year, with actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan at Mehboob studio. At another set in the same studio, Salman Khan was shooting for an ad film. It is common consideration for actors and filmmakers to go across to each other’s set and greet each other. And that was happening on both the Khans’ sets too.
While Dabangg Khan and SRK refrained from visiting each other out of courtesy, Salman’s sister Alvira and brother Sohail Khan paid a visit to the HNY set. Later, SRK’s leading lady went across to say ‘hello’ to Salman. She stayed on the set for over half an hour, chatting with her next hero (They will be seen together in Sooraj Bharjatya’s Bade Bhaiya).
Says a source, “Deepika is aware that even though they have called truce, things are far from fine between the two Khans. So it was actually brave of her to leave her set and go on the ‘enemy’ set.
She went across to meet him when there was a tea break in the evening where Salman was sitting outside his van. Even though HNY director Farah Khan is a good friend of Salman’s, she stayed away from him as her hero was on the set.”
Dippy and Salman spent a good 20 minutes catching up and engaging in social banter. Her latest film Ram Leela or her beau Ranveer Singh didn’t figure in the conversation. Salman is yet to see the Sanjay Bhansali film. After the conversation got over, Deepika walked back to her van and resumed shooting. The source adds, “Salman has been praising Deepika to a lot of people. In fact, on a chat show where he went recently he expressed great admiration and respect for her as an actress.
They scorched the silverscreen with their intense chemistry in Ram-Leela and their real life romance clearly reflected on the celluloid.
Ranveer and Deepika might not be confessing their love for each other in public but the affection says it all.

Hrithik officially launched the Krrish 3 collection at the JW Marriot Hotel in Mumbai. The country’s only superhero franchise, through its retail products, promises to touch new heights in the licensing industry.
The official merchandise, in a deal facilitated by Mumbai based licensing firm Dream Theatre includes a wide range of products across various categories. The prime attractions are the action figures of Krrish (character played by Hrithik), Kaal (Vivek Oberoi) and Kaya (Kangana Ranaut); kids’ apparel, school supplies, impulse toys such as frisbees and Yo-Yos, skates, ride-ons and publishing which includes activity and colouring books.
Additionally, there are food products (candies, confectionery, noodles), home decor items and accessories such as pendants and cufflinks. Producer Gaurang Doshi was quoted in Indian media saying:
“We have finalised Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan for ‘Happy Anniversary’.
They are an ideal married couple and we felt they fit the bill.”
However, Ash’s spokesperson declined to confirm the
announcement. She said: “Prahlad's script is also one of the many scripts
that Aishwarya has given her nod to, but it is very preliminary for the
producer to jump the gun and announce it as her comeback film.”
Meanwhile, Doshi claimed it was the script that convinced
the actress who had taken a sabbatical after the birth of her daughter Aaradhya
in 2011. He added that the yummy mummy would appear in her ‘Dhoom’-style size
zero avatar.
“Aishwarya is working hard for the film. She is working hard
to lose weight. I can say she will be seen as ‘Dhoom’ girl in the film,” the
producer said.
Prahlad Kakkar will direct the film, which is said to
revolve around the theme “anatomy of marriage”. The film is expected to go on
the floor in early 2014 and will be shot in South Africa.

Deepak Dobriyal is impulsive and effortless in his role. And he perhaps is one of the film’s most deep rooted stronghold points. There is grace in how he carries his role and an edge in his delivery that he has retained from when we first notice him in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara.
Anshul Kataria is top notch. With a sturdy performance he is surprisingly good.
Priya Bhatija aided with her years of experience in television uses it well in her first film. The actress is prompt in her acting and has a pleasant screen presence.
The supporting cast is very able and acting wise, the film is top notch and doesn’t waver at any point.

Actors Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Randhir Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and many other joined the prayer meet to pay their last respects to actress Jiah Khan.
Jiah was found hanging at her flat in Sagar Sangeet Building in the posh Juhu area here on June 3 around midnight. Aamir was seen at Jiah's condolence meet held at the Vile Parle Medical Club last night. His wife Kiran Rao was present at Jiah's burial.
Aamir was in tears while offering prayers. Apart from him, the others who were present at the prayer meet of the late 25-year-old actress included Prateik Babbar, Nagma and Urvashi Dholakia. Jiah made her acting debut in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Nishabd', together with megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
The film received mixed bollywood movie reviews after its release in March 2007, but Jiah was noted for her confidence, boldness, and sex appeal. She also got a Filmfare Best Debutant Nomination.
Jiah also played a college student in Aamir starrer 'Ghajini'. Her next and last film was Sajid Khan's 'Houseful'.
One of the latest Bollywood events is that the Indian actor Sanjay Dutt surrenders before a Mumbai court Thursday to begin serving time for a weapons conviction linked to a deadly terror attack in the city in 1993.
India's Supreme Court sentenced Dutt to five years in prison in March for unlawful possession of weapons supplied by mafia bosses linked to the terror attack, which killed 257 people in the Indian financial capital and entertainment hub.
The 53-year-old actor served 18 months in jail before being released on bail in 2007 pending an appeal, so he's to spend the next 3 1/2 years in the. The Supreme Court reduced his prison sentence to five years from the six-year term primarily handed down.
Earlier this month, the court banned Dutt's plea seeking review of its judgment on his conviction and jail term. Dutt was convicted for possession of an automatic rifle and a pistol that were provided to him by men subsequently convicted in the Mumbai bombings.
Dutt reached the court Thursday accompanied by his wife, Manyata, and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.
He was also accompanied by some friends from the Indian film industry. Dozens of cameramen, photographers and fans crowded outside his house and the courtroom. At the court, Dutt was forced to stay in his car before emerging to appeal the crowds makes way.
Despite the long-drawn trial over the bombings, Dutt's Bollywood career has thrived over the past 20 years. He gained huge popularity for a series of Hindi films in which he played the role of a reformed thug who follows the teachings of nonviolence advocate and Indian independence hero Mohandas Gandhi.
According to industry estimations, Dutt is currently involved in projects worth at least $20 million.
Dutt has said he knew nothing about the bombing plot and that he asked for the guns to defend his family — his mother was Muslim and his father Hindu — after receiving threats during the religious riots that preceded the bombings.
The 1993 bombings were seen at the time as the world's worst terrorist attack, with 13 bombs exploding over a two-hour period across Mumbai.
Powerful explosives were crammed into cars and scooters parked near India's main Bombay Stock Exchange and other sites in the city. In addition to those killed, more than 720 people were hurt in the attack. Watch the bollywood videos of sunjay dutt below.

‘Bombay Talkies’ is an omnibus aimed at celebrating the anniversary of Indian cinema, where four of the finest directors of Bollywood have come together to create one full length feature film, as a tribute to Indian cinema.
While ‘Bombay Talkies’ opened to some very positive reviews yesterday, with most critics praising the film and the exclusive concept, the response from cine-goers was relatively low. On opening day, the film managed to garner approximately Rs 13.4 million (Rs 1.34 crore net).
On the other hand the mass-oriented gangster flick ‘Shootout at Wadala’, complete with its three crowd-enticing item sequences is going great guns at the box office.
